SKYVEST is a category 2 PPE certified by TÜV and is designed to protect and reduce injuries in case of falls from low heights. The reflective vest with integrated airbag made of tear-resistant material inflates within 200ms in case of a fall. The airbag system is inflated via a CO2 pressure bottle equipped with a pyrotechnic release. After a fall, the inflator can be replaced by the user and is therefore reusable. The inflator unit (included), which is connected to an electronic sensor unit, detects fall situations based on parameters such as movement, acceleration and position of the person. Not only are the chest and back, including the spine, protected, but also the back of the head and coccyx. Also worn over a conventional harness, SKYVEST in combination with PPEgA can greatly reduce the risk of injury in pendulum falls, for example. With a battery life of up to 40 hours, it is flexible, independent and universally applicable - the perfect addition for all areas where PSAgA is not applicable.
